The project: " the Ornamented monuments of the world "

 

It is necessary to present customary from the new points of view.

There are so many monuments waiting for me in the World. This project is in need of sponsor's support. Attracting an energetic command, and financial support, it is realistic to execute similar projects. The idea is that a monument is covered with protective layer (so that it cannot be damaged by paint) and only then it is being painted on.

It can remain thus for as long as necessary. Printed and other advertising production, some souvenirs and postcards and t-shirts or whatever is produced and even some sort of show is possible. It attracts the attention of potentials tourists etc. The objectively tough project. I am currently working on the sketches of different famous monuments.

 

      

 

The project: " the Ornamented monuments of cities of the World. "

 

We and our cities have monuments created in honour of various events and the figures. I want to draw your attention to that circumstance, that on stretch of many years these monuments just stand and do not participate in any way in cultural life of city. The very small part of progressive mankind remembers, comprehends and realizes the necessity of these (certainly necessary) objects of town-planning.

 

The artist Andrew Shevchenko puts forward the project of ornamenting the monuments of the cities. It is necessary to mark, that in the ornamented state these objects can be remained for certain (determined)

amount of time (from one week to one year). Technology, with the help of which the monuments to be

painted will not  damage them. At first a monument is covered with a special blanket, on which the paint is put. After deleting it the initial look returns to that monument. If necessary the monument is cleaned from dust and dirt which almost all city monuments have on them and is covered with special protective compound.

 

The dates of the art happenings can be attached to the certain dates or cultural events. In case of correctly lead advertising campaign, this art event itself becomes a large and noticeable cultural event.

 

It is necessary to mark, that the author of this project understands impossibility to draw on all monuments. Certainly, there are some monuments, which are impossible and not necessary to cover with a colour paint, even for some time. But any city has a plenty of other objects, which it is possible and is necessary (under the judgment of the author) to ornament for a certain period of time.

 

It is necessary to mark, that the similar art happenings will bring a large favour

to city and to promote comprehension by the citizens and potential tourists of the fact, that administration and the urban authorities are the progressive members of modern society and supporters of modern culture and r open to new sight on routine. The favour to city will be exhibited in the following:

 

 a) the illumination of the given event in press and on a television will increase tourist interest to cultural life of city,  sales  of the posters and cards, which will allow tourists to have unforgettable memory of the given event;

 

 b) considering sponsors support the city will be given supplementary funds for keeping its monuments in perfect condition;

 c) In case the "fathers" of the city are morally, for the present,  not ready for such daring, advancing its time project it is possible to use the reduced copies of monuments or  full-scale copy.

 

I think, that in collective discussion many other interesting ideas and financial projects will appear.
